Help In Uploading a Photo

I am a newbie here. I have read for a long time and appreciate all the help. Anyway I am trying to post a photo, but it is too large. Any suggestions on making it smaller?? I have Graphic Converter; am in SmugMug and PhotoBucket. Thanks so much in advance.

Welcome to the forum :D.

I'm afraid I don't know the graphic converter program, but if it lets you, you need to resize your images to somewhere between, say, 600-1024 pixels on the longest side. Then, if there is a "save for web" option, use it and keep the filesize below 150 kb. i had this problem recently, if you have your photo hosted by smugmug there is a tutorial on loading to forums

click on help on your home page then go to sharing and then forums and blogs and you should get some joy on how to embed to the forum
