Hi,
I had S1 IS before and changed to S3 currently. I have a problem I tried going through the manual a lot but doesnt help me much.
When i take pictures with Auto superfine with/without flash I see that there is a loss or shift in color. Can anybody point to a test or
settings that could fix give clues on the problem. I feel the color of the skin is not clearly captured and there is a shift towards blue. I say auto because this is the simplest mode.
Any help would be appreciated.
regards,
solo

Is this on your computer or when reviewing the pictures on the camera's LCD? Can you post an example (image posting rules and methods are linked in my sig.)?

try the "P" mode and set the white balance to fluorescent or fluroscent2, depending on taste. manual's actually not that hard to deal with - you just have to think ahead before you shoot (example: if you have a moving subject, faster exposure; want to achieve great bokeh, faster aperture; etc.)
