Hi all,

This was taken back in September 2005, 20 sec exposure with Sigma 10-20mm at full length.

definitely an awesome photo, the white sky in the back gives the buildings a kind of halo look

Well captured. It looks like the lady at the right was looking right at you.

Yeah, people who do not understand photography think you are barking to set up a tripod to take night photos. I did have a few curious looks when doing these.

Glad I did the London Eye and most of London before the Police and Community Support were "stop and questioning" TOGs and serving cease notices for taking photos of the London Eye. Apparently (I haven't been there since, and read Amateur Photographer) but there have been some real problems with people trying to take photographs with cameras bigger than those you can fit on the palm of your hand. They are trying to class you as professional rather than enthusiast - tripod mounting - FORGET IT!!:lol:

Good shot Tim.
The blue sky makes a huge difference in this night shot.

NIce shot at dusk - just enough to keep the blues in there.

That's the case that I've seen first hand. The past two times been told to stop shooting, even though once I was shooting Big ben from outside the aquarium. At least I can shoot wherever in New Zealand and not get harassed
