Probably. For those who want to continue to gorge yourself at the 1DsMkII buffet, here is a link to a 25 page technical document (PDF)

If you think about it too hard you will never get it. Just slap it on the ol' credit card and worry about paying for it some other time...don't be afraid to bury yourself in debt...it is the American way, after all.

Just too much money.

Alas I'll have to suffer through another year or so with the lousy 1D Mark II...

Seriously though, the 1Ds Mark II would cause me to re-evaluate my computer gear as well. The 1DII files already quickly approach 1GB with a small selection of added layers, and it's stressing my system (and patience!).

I'm a Mac user, and would really feel the need for that 30" display with such files to work on...so the 1Ds Mark II would be more like a $15,000 camera, after I factored in the little add-ons like a new computer...

Probably not the place to say it but I saw your photo in Australian FHM, looks real good in print.

Well I know that the camera is "too much camera for me" aka.....price. I just wanted to provide a link to the PDF file.

As Clint Eastwood said in Dirty Harry, "A man has to know his limitations". Believe me. In this case I know mine.
Cheers,
Rob

No way,no how, would i buy one of those.
I'd prefer a canon 1.6 crop body with inbuilt stabilization any day!
