For anybody who is running the Wasia firmware on your 300D, if you plan to revert back to the original canon firmware, make sure you do the following first. If you dont, the red-eye indicator on your LED will blink continuously.
You must revert all functions back to default:
1. "Reset Camera Settings" in the Menu
2. The above does NOT affect the custom functions, so reset your cf's to
0 0 0 0 0 1 0 11 0 0 0 0 0 0
3. Set the FEC and AF modes back to default (default for AF is AI).
Step #2 may be all that you really need to do, but I like to be thorough
