Congrats. I my 400D feels incomplete without a grip nowadays. I cant shoot without it.

Definitely agree, for larger hands the Rebel series are almost too small without a grip.

I agree the grip is great. I had one on my XT, 30D and now on my 40D.

Do any of you guys have the Opteka Grip available for the XTi? Seems like a really good deal because it comes with 2 batteries for half the price of the BG-E3.

I was thinking about the Opteka grip but I have had problems in the past with third party add on's to products and had a bad experience so as a result, items like a grip, I would like to acquire the official supported product.

My grip never leave my camera for 2years now.

If I can give you an advice get the Canon E1 Hand Strap, is a valuable strap for the bady + grip, I don't regret that choice... ;)

I bought my brother the grip for his Xti and wow does it really complete that camera! The grips on the XXXD series camera IMO feel a lot better and more "one" with the camera than the grips on the XXD series do... Its odd.

like the feel with it on the cam with the heavy 70-200 w/ hood...jeez, can't hold it more than five minutes... :)
