Got the spyder2 suite and want to get some input on how well it looks on you alls end. First imagine is the one straight from the camera, second is tweaked a little with photoshop. Thanks for the feedback.

I'm not sure what you want us to say. We can comment on your Photoshop work, but we can't see your monitor to comment on its colour ...
(I like your PS work, by the way - you've added the bit of extra contrast that the shot needed.)

I was just wondering how the two pictures looked on you alls monitor. Checking to see if the calibration software did the trick.

The colors, saturation, and exposure look better in the second image.

The colors are essentially the same except a bit more saturated in the second one. The main thing to be concerned with is not the difference between the images, but the accuracy of the color. I don't know if your image has a colorspace associated with it, but my browser, Firefox, doesn't support color management anyway. However, the colors look perfect.

Ok thanks, sounds like my monitor is calibrated correctly now.

I see the calibration of my monitor is to get a WSIWYG result when printing. I really dont worry about what someone else sees on their monitor. If you are printing things out you want to make sure that when you print they match what you see on your monitor. This is what I see as calibration. Of course having a calibrated monitor should also make them look better on the web or where ever else you publish them but only if viewed on a calibrated monitor as well. I will say that on my uncalibrated monitor at work the picture above seems a little warm to me but it may look completely different on my calibrated monitor at home.
