I work for a marketing/retail company in which we have been conducting DSLR trainings for retail associates over the past year and half. We are gearing up in 2008 for another round of trainings all across the country. I'm basically copying and pasting the information our recruitment department has posted on various job sites. Once again, the company is national, so if you are interested, I will provide the contact information at the end of the add.

Digital SLR Elite Trainer

The Elite Trainer will use several DSLR cameras from various manufacturers to conduct fun, interesting, and interactive classroom style trainings to sales associates working for a major electronics retail chain. Trainings will be based from a PowerPoint presentation & activity sheets supplied by the client. These National trainings are scheduled by ActionLink and held in hotel meeting room environment. All Trainers will receive comprehensive product training prior to deployment in the field.

Job Description

Deliver all features, benefits & aspects of Digital SLR (DSLR) technology within class room style training. Trainer should clearly communicate both the spoken & written word; read & interpret complex information. Conduct a Q & A session with Store Employees that attend the training. If permitted…hold a hands-on session with the DSLR camera models. Evaluate measure & report effectiveness of the training delivered. The DSLR Trainer is responsible for all equipment being used at demonstrations.

Job Requirements

1) Enthusiastic/Outgoing personality to capture & hold attention
2) Dedicated to excellence….self motivated
3) Natural ability to comprehend advanced technology
4) Must be available to travel with expenses paid by ActionLink
5) Retail sales & training preferred
6) Presentable & Professional appearance
7) Experience in SLR Photography and if possible own a camera
8 ) Good communications skills….both verbal & written
9) Have internet access to check email & complete reports and respond to email in a timely manner
10) Ability to work from a power point…must have a laptop
11) Reliable transportation a must
12) Available weekday mainly & possibly weekends for 8 hours per location…...day/time TBD

This part time position starts at $18 Hr. with travel expenses paid. Hours will vary per week and be scheduled by the Elite Training Director.
