Not sure if this is a known issue or not, but I was trying to search for cathedral pictures in the "Landscape..." section and on the search page it listed the keywords as "cathedral and child forums" so I went to the sports section and put in the same search phrase, and again got the same keyword list.
I highlighted it because it is so light that you can barely see it against the black bar.

a child forum is a forum 'under' a main forum
Look at the rumors forum (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=82) - it has child forums under it.

Hmmm.. never heard it described that way, but it makes sense. Never noticed it before in the search, just seemed very odd, like someone was playing a sick joke or something! Trying to get the FBI after me!

Describing such a relation between a forum and subforum or similar things are often also described as parent / child relationships.

As in real world, in "programming world" a child can also be a parent and parent a child, but a child can have more than two parents, or then only one :)

This is standard terminology in the software world when denoting hierarchical relationships.
