Hi,
Just wondering what kinda batteries you guys all use with this flash? I have a set of 2700 and a set of 2600, I don't seem to get many photos out of them at all.. they've not been used in a long time (maybe 1 year?) so was wondering if that could be a problem (yes I fully charged both sets).
Also, how have people found using 2 of these flashes as master and slave? I was only able to have a little test because of the battery life.
Regards,
Adam

Batteries: SANYO Eneloop Batteries (http://www.amazon.com/SANYO-Eneloop-Ready-Rechargeable-Batteries/dp/B000LNI5VC/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1200008639&sr=8-1) (they pretty much never lose charge, and are regarded as "the best").
Charger: Maha C9000 Battery Charger (http://thomasdistributing.com/shop/-maha-mhc9000-advanced-battery-chargerbrfree-best-way-shipping-for-limited-timebrfree-deluxe-storage-case-included-p-405.html?SP_id=42&osCsid=oqq3ep46g2vm08qnn26ovvjj75). Easily the best charger out there. Has a different charging circuit for each battery, can condition, rescue, analyze, discharge, and charge batteries with amazing precision. I have it and love it.

Batteries sometimes go bad. Try a new set.how have people found using 2 of these flashes as master and slave? When I had two Sigma Supers, I tried several times and was unsuccessful getting them to work reliably in E-TTL master/slave mode. Maybe I was doing something wrong, but I tried everything I could think of without success.
However, the Sigma Super seems to work well as a slave to a Canon master.
More importantly, the optical slave mode I found very reliable. Put one on the camera in manual mode, the other off-camera in optical slave mode, adjust the power on each and fire away.

Currently using Energizer 2300's with no problems, but will probably switch to Eneloops shortly to see how they work.

Thanks, I just bought 2 sets of those Sanyo batteries. Will be nice to have some I can have readily charged in my bag that haven't drained.

Cheers for the info Curtis. I've looked through the manual but can't figure out how to get them to work in Optical slave mode?

Hmm I bought 2000 mAh by accident so cancelled the order. Does anybody know good places to buy batteries from in the UK?
