This was my 1st real outing with my 10-22. Any advice would be appreciated.

great exposure - i think it's a winner! I'm assuming those must be decoys in the water since they are so close?

I love my 10-22 also, but it takes a little care in shooting to avoid some obvious distortion. Can you imagine what it does in a full frame sensor camera?

This is a nice shot, a little on the dark side for me, Nice horizon placement on the rule of 3rds and a good choice of the low camera angle.
Did you vignet the image?

Lovely vista.the colors are wonderful. Maybe a wee bit of straightening?

Thanks for the replies. The shot is straight out of the camera with the exception of a resize. They are decoys, I was on a hunting trip with a few friends and since I don't have a gun or hunting license I took my camera instead. I have to admit though... I took at least 10 shots of the sunrise and this was the only one to come out 'acceptable' Try hand holding a camera while in a boat and keeping the horizon level.

I didn't think the 10-22 EFS lens would mount on a full frame camera?

Right! Thanks!
I should have put that in the subjunctive mode, as in, "Can you imagine what it would do if it would fit on a full frame sensor camera?"
