I'm interested in getting a smaller charger for the G3's BP-511 battery for bicycle touring, where space and weight are always a premium.

I believe that the Pro-1 comes with the CG-580 charger which plugs directly into the wall, so no cord, and I read that the plug spades fold, true?

Does this charger work at all voltages (with a plug converter)?

Yes, the Pro-1 and G6 come with the CG-580 charger. It's about the size of a pack of cigarettes, and the plugs fold up into the body. Very compact. You can buy it seperately (I know that B&H has them).

On the back, it says: Input 100V-240V. I guess that would mean just about any voltage you're likely to encounter.

My G6 came with a charger on the end of a very long cable, how i wish it came with the one that plugs in to the wall directly

Now that's interesting. Alnath, what country are you in? Mine definately came with the CG-580 (which I love, by the way).
