I was down at Joe Louis Arena tonight, for the Wings vs Wild. Minnesota won 6-5 on Marian Gaborik's 2nd goal of the evening in the shootout against Chris Osgood...... Thanks for looking...;)

Great shot of Gaborik sneaking the puck past Osgood. Is there a chance you snapped anything just the moment the puck left his stick so that we could better see how he poked it through?

p.s. This was one of the most frustrating games I've ever had the displeasure of watching.... booo Wild... :(

How do you set your white balance? Your pics are amazing :)

Thanks everyone for the comments. As far as my White Balance, I balance off the ice once all the arena lights come up. My shots are through those little slots that are in the glass. I have season media credentials for the Red Wings. I am currently shooting for Michigan Hockey magazine. This is my 3rd full year covering the Wings'.
