I purchased a JackRabbitII for my 580EXii to decrease the recycle time. Does anyone know how many flashes I can get per charge?
Thanks,
Mitch

What does DynaLite Tech Support say? They are a reliable company with no reason to exaggerate.
Doubt any one can answer with precision, because answer varies greatly by power output demanded by each exposure. With that opinion, this battery and Quantum are excellent, and unless you shoot with "abandon" at events, using more than half to full flash output power all the time, they will last for hundreds of photos.
I've never shot more than 350 photos at an event, because coming from film anything over 10 rolls is costly to process. I use my older generation Quantum battery not for the max number or flashes it provides, but for faster shot-to-shot recharge of the 580EX. That's how I imagine most folks would use the JackRabbit II.
Heed Canon's directions on number of flashes per short time, and don't burn your 580EX up, which these batteries can do, if that's what you want (haha).
