what do you mean manual lol as far as i am conerned no... cant even control shutter speed or apature? o_0

I used to focus on something like my hand and and then move the camera where I wanted it. Not a bd MF trick

No. You can, in Camera M, change ISO, turn off and on the flash, and set exposure compensation, but the camera will choose shutter and aperture even then. The A570's the lowest-priced PowerShot allowing you full control of shutter speed and aperture.
