Fast moving insect which ran around on the sand before diappearing under some plants.

My guess would have to be an ant of some kind but the experts will surely be able to tell you more. Good catch of something that never seems to allow time to focus.

Nice shot- as above suspect it's an ant but don't think I've seen a pic of one with a stripey abdomen before.
