wow, the contrast is great. is the frame/ceiling PSed to b/w? or is that straight from the photo.

Great graphic image. Elegantly simple! I'd pull the top left corner in just a touch or else clone out the two little dashes of light. They seem unnecessary.

great shot! love the simplicity of it. It almost seems like a drawn or computer generated image with a lamp photoshopped in.

Did you de-saturate the sky to make it white or was it just that overexposed? Either way its a nice effect.

I love it, but the compression kills it! these broken contours of black straights are ruining it. :(

This shot was purposely exposed so that the top is b/w, and the red is bright.

Sublime and elegant photo, I really like it. Excellent composition, the subject is static but the tilt makes the lantern seem alive. And I'm a guy who rarely likes tilted photos :)

I have to agree, the negative spaces are great. my one little nitpick is the white in top left corner, it's distracting. Clone it out or crop slightly tighter and it's perfect.
