Like your earlier shot, this is very nice. :-)
I would like to try some long exposures during the day using ND filters. I'm limited to night time at the moment!

Oh Yes. I used a filter rarely used by anyone. A B+W 10 stop Neutral Density filter. It reduces the light x1000. You have to compose the picture without the filter on and then screw the filter on to take the photo. The reason is that if the filter is on you can't see a thing through the viewfinder.

Fantastic shots Tom.
Could you post the info on the filter?
I did a Google search but got some hits for 4 and 6 stop ND filter but not a 10.
I know there is a super expensive ($350+) vari ND filter but I think that is different from the one you described.

Here is the filter I am using: http://www.adorama.com/BW77ND1X.html
**note** You have to compose the photo without the filter on. After that screw on the ND filter. The reason for this is with the filter on you can't see a thing through the viewfinder. You may as well have the lens cap on. It is dead black.
