-Very cool looking location!
- Lovely soft colors
- Nice blur to the water (and the clouds)
- Horizon is a bit off kilter (needs a little rotation to the left)
- Looks like maybe the sun is immediately behind the large rock formation on the right as there's some contrast "fringing" going on across the top edge.

Did you make several images here? This is one of those situations where a graduated ND filter would be of enourmous help. It would hold the sky back some and let you have a little more exposure in the foreground.

yeah NDgrad would have been really helpful, havnt got around to getting one yet though, the sun is actually behind the horizon which is why its at f11 to allow more light in.
the water isnt brightened at all and the bottom of the clouds were a little blown out but i managed to recover it all.. think i need a tad more pink in it and maybe a USM?

Eh, maybe a touch more saturation...

As for sharpening, that's your call since you can see it full res.

It really looks like a first-class photographic playground though. Probably 1440 different shots a day there (24hrs x 60min/hr = 1440, right?) Ok, so maybe not overnight...but with a full moon out...hmm...

I just meant the landscape itself looks like one could have a lot of fun shooting there. It's soooo much nicer to be somewhere alone and not awash in a sea of tripods all around you!

Looking forward to revisions and more shots if you have them!

This looks like a super location.

A question about the third one. Is that a person in the distance on the right? I would have waited until they were out of the frame or gotten closer and made him or her part of the shot.

But I'll bet if you took this shot 1.5 hours earlier, you would have had a great glow in the sky. Get up earlier next time, dude! A walk down the beach to bring that tree-lined promontory closer would be more dramatic too, especially with the sunrise shining through it.
