I got this shot the same day that I took my "5 Ducks" (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=432683) shot. Just walking around with the Infrared Rebel. I kind of like how the conversion came out, I decided to go straight monochrome rather than natural infrared or reversed color.

One thing to mention, those clouds in the upper one third of the shots are NOT cloned in, even though there is the appearance of repetition particularly the one on the left.

I really liked the original framing with the wispy clouds, then just for giggles I decided to crop them out and I like that too - now I can't decide which best presents the image.

Which one do you like? And of course comments and critique are welcome.

Also thought I would include a 100% crop because the birds in the center of the frame, as well as the sharpness, get lost on the minified versions. Also, in this you can see the real film grain added. Hope this gives you a better idea of the final product.

Don't like the horizon cutting the frame in half in #2. Love the sky in #1.

flip #1 and keep that crop, you will be suprised.

The eye generally starts in the center then travels left, and that's where the action would be.

No1 definately.
I would be tempted to shoot the bird down with the clone tool, along with the white dots around the clouds in the sky, i realise thay are probably cloud but look out of place.
Good Image.
