Hiya!

I think that I saw some time ago an EOS-1D Mark II for sale, and on the picture there was not an eyecup, just an eyecup frame. I really don't like the eyecup, as the hard plastic on the inside disturbs me. I have been wondering if I can put the frame that's meant for the "E-diopter" (or something like that) on my 1D IIn?

Any input greatly appreciated,

Aero :)

Do you mean just the extender? (EP-EX15)

Eyecup FRAME, I have nothing to do with the EX15.

Ok was just trying to work out what you meant, yeah you could leave an E-diopter frame on there or remove the rubber from the eyecup or anything. Or just leave nothing on it, though that would allow a lot of light in.

Okay, very good - that's what I was asking. :) Going to get myself one of those then.

But I don't like being completely all-less on the viewfinder. :p
