I'm changing my bags due to kit increases and different requirements, the Adventure 9 looks almost perfect for my commute to work with the kit i will want. The only issue i have is i want to carry the 70-200 fitted to my body. I know in the way it is described/shown in pictures it won't go in. What i want to know is can you arrange the dividers so the body and lens can lay across the bottom of the camera compartment.

I have the Adventure 9 and I don't think that it is possible to attach your 70-200 to your camera and store it in the bag. The bottom component is just not big enough. Not even sure if you could attach the f/4 version either.
I store mine as its shown in the pictures. Tamrac's Expedition or Cyberpack Series packs are the ones maybe you want to look at if this is a "must have" feature.
One of the reasons I chose the Adventure 9 is that it doesn't look like a camera bag when I'm out and about.

I can fit my 30D with 100-400, which I believe is a similar size to your 70-200 f/2.8, fitted to the front in my bag, but it is a "too tight" fit. Pushes against the left and right sides, so not advisable.

I have that bag and it's perfect to fit like the picture and that's it. The compartments are tight and can't fit much more. And with my laptop, it is already pretty heavy. Good luck.

I had this bag in the past, I don't remember if you can change the divider like
you want, I think not but I am not sure, but a 70-200/f4 fits inside, don't know about the 2.8 I am guessing it would be very tight as Tony said since the f4 fits exactly
so 2.8 would be pushing the limits.
