This one exhibits a sharpening halo but the underwing lighting is Excellent

Thank you all. These were shot while testing my recently repaired MKIII. The focus is now spot on and I'm loving it. 300 f2.8 with 2x tc II handheld. And I'm not very good at handholding.

I don't know if he should be challenging those planes-- Nice shots of a powerful bird.

Great lighting on the first one. Makes it look almost like a little man in a feather suit when you can see their musculature like that. :)
