So here they are. Let me have it. I really want to learn how to use this Alien Bee. Don't be kind. Give it me. I want to hear it.

These were done with my Rebel XT and Tamron 28-75mm.

AB800 at 1/4 power with Photek Softlighter to one side.

f 3.5, ISO 200, SS 1/160 for all

I will keep lights close to the subject. When I am using Ab 800 at say 1/4 power, I shoot at ISO100 and f8. Since you used f3.4, I am assuming lights are quite far from the subjects.

Another thing, keep aperture at f8/f11 for multiple subjects shots as you wnat everyone in focus.

I prefer to use tele lens than wide angle even on crop body.
