The grip is ordered. So is the CA-PS400 charger. I already have a couple extra BP511a batteries, so I'll be golden.

I've just managed to make my small, lightweight 20D as big and as heavy as my Mk II. Am I insane?

I cancelled my order with B&H and found the Grip locally for $164.00 so the Tax will off set the shipping charges and it will be the same price. I called B&H they told me it would not ship until tomorrow and I really want the grip for this weekend the camera is too small for my hands. I need the grip. Best of Luck to all who need the grip. :)

Does the new battery holder use the same strap as the 10D? If so it is on backorder with B+H and mine is going with my sold 10 D, any ideas?

Cheers,

Darrin

Are you talking about the hand strap?

Yes that is why I include the title "what about the hand strap" ;)

I assume it is the E-1 but have not had time to look at the accesory guide and I am travelling right now. My main reason for the grip is to use the hand strap (and get more walkaround time).

Cheers,

Darrin

What a relief....I haven't done anything that stupid in quite a while. I was afraid I was losing it. (Whatever it is.) I'm usually good for a couple screwups like that a couple times a day. It had been a few days and I was starting to worry.

Thanks.

The E-1 is adjustable, and will handle a variety of camera/hand sizes. Unless they changed the location of the loops on the grip, it should work just fine.

Now try to find one.

Well, this thread just cost me a bunch of money.

Picked up my grip today. Cost $208, but that's okay. I really prefer shooting with the grip. It just makes the camera feel so much more "professional", whatever that means.
