I made Young Photographer of the Year 2007 shortlist

Really pleased that I made the shortlist for Digital Camera Magazine's Young Photographer of the Year!

I only got the email this morning.

''Hello Monkeyman

Happy New Year - and congratulations!

You have been short-listed in the Digital Camera Young Photographer of the Year competition.Your image, Spider on dewdrop, has been chosen to enter the final judging stage in your age category.We received more than 3500 entries in the 2007 competition, so to reach this stage is a real achievement.''

I need to send them a bigger version of the image, which I am going to do now,

very good! you deserve it! your pictures with the G7 and Raynox lenses are awesome. you inspire me to mush my lil S3 to the limits..
your photos are comparable to a lot of the DSLR photos i have seen here on the forum
