Very nice gary, I was just checking out some info on an Eagle Watch festival held in Nova Scotia every year. I am planning on going to it in 2 weeks time. Local Poultry producers feed chicken scraps etc to the wintering eagles. they have had as many as 520+ eagles there at one time. Should be able to get a shot or two I hope.:D

You get that same shot with a pretty blue sky and you will have a wall hanger.

Tough light, still a great one Gary. Lousy all weekend here. Not a single shot fired.

I just bought a 100-400L which almost broke the budget, so I'm going to have to use that for a while.

Classic pose, focus and details are incredible. I'll take that bland sky anyday if I could muster a capture like this. Well done.

Geeeze Gary, what you doing, buying your eagles silver jewelry? Looks all polished up too. Oh yeah, great shot too. ;)

So, what, it clouded up in 1/1500 of a second you couldn't snap the shot off first?
