I have a friend who is a professional photography and has recently gone digital. He is still learning the quirks of the digital world.

Anyway, he offered to print some of my pics from my canon g1 for me as he has a really high end photo printer. About a year ago, i tooks some photos to him I had taken with a really cheap fuji digital and he was able to print them just fine.

Over the past several months, we have tried to print pictures taken with my g1 and have run into a brick wall. The program he uses, which called Kodak PC Pro won't recognize my pics. It shows info from each pic (ie title or name given to it) but the pics show up as white blocks.

I have gone as far as to convert the pictures to tiffs in photoshop but that hasnt worked either.

Does anyone out ther have any experience with PC pro software? Any Ideas why this program would read pics from a cheap fuji and not my G1?

Much thanks for any help you can provide!

If you are giving him JPG photos from your G1 there should be no problem (these would be the same as photos from the the cheap fuji). If you're giving him Canon RAW files (CRW) then these will give PC Pro indigestion. TIF can be tricky too since there are several types of TIF variations.

I note in the PC Pro specs that it can import BMP files, you might try exporting a couple of your photos as BMP files and see if the program will accept these.
