Hi,
Would welcome comments on this photo please,
I,m new to phototgraphy so would appreciate your comments.

Pretty good start there!
What I like about this photo is its subject matter and the choice you've made to go with B/W. Also the dark rocks or stones in the foreground work well to give a sense of depth.
What could be improved upon is the perspective. It kinda doesn't go anywhere. There is no logical point the eye of the beholder is drawn to.
Another thing are the lampposts on top. They're leaning back quite a bit which makes the composition seem slightly wobbly, and that's the one thing a stong, stuctural, B/W print can not afford.
So keep an eye out for perspective and composition, wether you're looking through a camera or not, once you're a photographer you're always watching!

You picked an interesting place to shoot, but not a particularly interesting image to post. Think about light, color and contrast, even within the image you took. There is more to this scene than pillars, walkways, water and sand. Find it and you will have a great shot.
