I think that I have seen this used here ... and I know how to do it in HTML, but I was interested in posting a picture that is linkable so that when it is clicked, a larger 100% crop can be viewed. I am not sure if the "url" tag can be nested in the "img" tag or vice versa.

Thank you, Pete. I tried just the opposite of that where I tried to nest the "url" tag inside of the "img" tag and it did not work. I told myself that it couldn't be the other way round where the "img" tag is inside the "url" tag. That's what I get for trying to think.
