It's been a while since I've posted here and today I just want to let this forum know how fast Canon has come up with solutions to fix my S1 IS which has started shutting down on the CCD. As I'm typing this I have an instant notifier on Gmail and I just saw the Shipping Label for prepaid shipment back to Canon. I experienced problems with the camera on Thanksgiving, but it went to work again. Tried to use it Saturday and it was toast, They have been on it like hotcakes since then and they will take it back and fix it (from what I've seen first hand, give you an updated refurbished). This camera has had heavy use for certain periods in the 3 years I've had it and been exceptional for what it is. If you have one of the camera's with problems, believe me, they will go out of their way to help you. Rock On!
