I've never been there, but we went past the Leica gallery when Thomas Hawk did his washington square park photo walk, seemed interesting

Just head down to the Village and you will run into many photo galleries many of which i am sure will inspire you

How about perusing PBase.com?

I find a lot of inspiration there...not to mention the various photo sharing forums here...
