Well I have still not had a lock up after a week. I have shot almost 1000 photos without a problem. Tomorrow I have a wedding to shoot, we will see.
Anyway, I thought the lock up thing happenned to me today. I changed lenses and the the thing completely froze on me, I couldn't do a thing to get it to work. That's when I tried taking off the lens and putting it back on. At that time I reallized that even though the lens seemed to lock on to the mount, it really wasn't on all the way. I had to give it a little force and wala, it worked. I went out to shoot tonight and put the same lens back on the camera and it froze up again. I immediatley started to go into panic mode when I remembered what happenned earlier. Well a little force worked again. BTW, it was with my Canon 70-200L. My Tamron is the one that did not lock up...Dean
