I've transferred pics to video by running a slideshow and recording the line to videotape (with a cd player hooked up to the audio input). It works great except for one thing...

I can't figure out how to upload a collection of images from my computer to the camera so that the camera recognizes the image files. I've tried replicating the file structure and .ctg files canon puts on the cf card, but no luck. Any ideas?

Does the ZoomBrowser My Camera feature allow you to upload images? I haven't tried it, myself.

I'm curious as to why you're recording slideshows on tape (VHS?). There's a tremendous amount of image quality lost when you go that way, as I'm sure you're aware.

You can use VideoImpression (or other, much better DV editors) to make AVI movies out of your pictures at much better quality, but I'm guessing you need a videotape source for putting on the final show.

ZoomBrowser does have upload functionality. That did just what I needed. Thanks for the idea.

I'm just doing a simple photo dump to tape for the grandparents, so this works out well.
