Thanks Billy The lens is the canon 70-300mm IS (it was the one that was on the camera at the time) The camera is the Canon XTI. I was probably 20 feet away and it was a hand held shot.

Thanks Karen :) They're just about my favorite birds...love to hear them singing and conversing with each other. I have A LOT of them around here along with the house wrens. Also have about 150-200 gold finches that are about to eat me out of house and home (they're eating about 12 lbs of thistle seed a week).....so if anyone needs any gold finches let me know and I'll box them up and send them right along. :D
