I noticed that my last title "Sexy tail..." got almost double the views (239) of my next highest & 9 times the views of my lowest, "55 Chev", so I've just taken a quick, unscientific poll.

Observations:

"White Breasted Nuthatches" would have done much better titled, "White Breasts..."
"Doing it (Mantis Style)" did well.
"BIG DOGs" & "little (nasty) dogs", "Clyde my Gator!", & "Our Kitchen Gecko" did very well, too. Probably caused a residual resonance in our reptile brains.

Draw your own conclusions, but it seems to me that "Nude Dave Matthews has sex with animals" would probably be the all time winner! We'll see! :wink:

I was thinking about posting a similar topic myself, and you pretty much summed it up for me. I've posted a few pictures while Charlseu or someone has some up, and mine go completely un noticed. I'd like to say its because you dont like it, but if you haven't seen it, thats kind of hard to judge, no? In conclusion, nudey's and models get more views than we ever will. oh well.

While sex sells and it's nice to have more people view your photo, mislabeling your post isn't the best approach. The 'Nude' and 'topless' when used as they should be, are put there as a warning so people can choose not to view it, or not to view it at their current location (ie. at work). Hopefully people don't go overboard with the false labelings... it's a bit annoying in my opinion.

I, too, marvel at the hits. Not only hits but the lack of comments from most people viewing some of my images. Particularly the ones featuring models who are in glam or fine-art modes.

I have to admit, I skip most of the butterfly posts. And most of the bird posts. I was into nature photography some time back but about 15 years ago really really fell in love with people as my subjects. I am more interested in people, glam or not, as subjects in a picture. I love seeing people in their every day life. Photodocumentary stuff. I don't know if anyone has seen it but Gail (she posts fairly frequently here) has a wonderful family page on her website. What a treasure to her family. That, for me, is what it's all about.

Anyway, enough rambling this morning.
