new here and semi new to photography

Hey everybody this is my second post since i have joined. i figured since i posted eariler today i should introduce myself. i have been lurking the forum for a bit and learning as much as i can before i post. im really like the atmosphere here people are really chill. the more i look around the more nervous i get about posting my pictures. i have never really posted any of my pics online and alot of you have just some amazing pictures. i just picked up the canon rebel xti and have been shooting practically everyday, and like most people have pointed out you shell out some big money when your really start getting into it. im already in to the camera about 3000 give of take few. im hoping to learn alot for the lot of you and to watch my photography flourish and grow but for now dont tear into me to bad i am still learning and need alot more to go. im coming from the film world and digital is all new.

Welcome, and come on, there's nothing to lose by posting photo's... there is only gain and learning... which might involve someone tearing you down, but how else would you learn:lol:

i think most of us start out on the wrong foot. ie... buying bad glass. over exposing.. staying in the green box. it takes a while to get the hang of it. but its fun..

welcome to POTN, and i hope that you have fun here, and hang out with us a lot more.

the xti is a great learning too.. but be warned.. this site will cost you money. and lots of it. lol.
