Day or job rate, Rad. If you charge by the hour, the better you are & the faster you can work, the less you get paid? Does that seem right to you?

Which will be a great idea going forward. The problem here is that the work is done, and at the printer without having decided on a price first. In addition to two on-site shoots, I had a boatload of time (20+ hours) in post processing. Now I am having to go back and "reconstruct" a fair price.

Got it now! Do you have to itemize it? Most people just want to know the bottom line. When I'd tell car guys what I include in a commission, their eyes usually glaze over, so I keep it very general now. ;)
