Took some shots of my 4 yr old having some fun playing on the dirt for the first time. Im struggling with this first shot to get more 'pop' out of it, maybe some insight from folks would give me a boost. Thanks for looking!

Great shot but some fill flash would have made him definatly pop. I did some bright/contrast saturation.

That works, I like it. When I was playing around with bright/contrast it seemed overprocessed at the time but I probably needed to step away from the screen for a few minutes. Thanks!

Im not sure I understand. Are you asking if he is taking instruction well? I've only had to remind him of brakes a few times but other than that he's got great throttle control. I couldn't be happier.:D

Aaah, now that looks better. What did you use to give the sky that 'polarized' look?

I cloned out some clutter grew a tree real fast dozed the house down , then used power retouche to udjust the highlights and shadows a lil bit then used (new adjustment layer ) selective color for the sky and greens along with yellow , then used the burn tool @ 14% exposure set too mid tones then darkened the sky and the hill side a bit, I didnt take too much time with it as I had a dinner date with my lil girl ;) Regards Ed

Man that second shot is awesome! You and he will enjoy that for a long time. Congrats. I can remember the P90 days, great stuff.

is he allowing down load ? Sumoto, you need to turn "Image Editing OK" on in your user prefs, or I'll have to remove the editing examples posted. I cloned out some clutter grew a tree real fast dozed the house down , If he didn't have a date, he would have removed the telephone poles in the bkg too.
Great shot in #2! Blow it up BIG before your hard drive crashes! :D

I'll be sure to change my preferences PG, thanks!
Wondering why this thread got moved as this is motorsports in my mind not transportation.....but hey, what do I know.;)
EDIT: I guess I missed the sub-title for motorsports being 'competitive'. I'll take note.
