I took my semi-annual trip to Cary, North Carolina for my day job, and thought I'd get out and work out my shutter finger a bit in the neighboring city of Raleigh. C&C are welcome, of course!

Thanks! About a year ago I was in the same place and got a different shot with the same concepts... I think I like the close-up version better. What do you think?

Thank you for the kind words! Being local, if you know of any other places I should check out on my next trip your way, please let me know. It'll probably be late summer or so when I'm there again.

I've found Raleigh to be a great city to shoot at night. There are some great buildings being put up, and the skyline keeps changing! It's always an adventure to head back.
And next time you're in town, say hi to the great folks at The Big Easy for me. They served me a hell of a bowl of gumbo!

the big easy is a cool little place. i've been there a couple of times. it's got a very rustic feel to it. i'll have to try the gumbo next time i go.
