I need to learn how to export a flash gallery from Lightroom to my webpage. I'm SO lost that I don't even know what to ask.
I have GoDaddy "website tonight", but it does not allow FTP whatever is called.
So I set up a basic hosting. I have the domain registered at domain.com.
That's where it stops. Clueless from there. You have to help me out as if I'm a 2 year old because I'm truly clueless.
If we can meet on msn/aim/yahoo and help me with this, I'll compensate you $50.
PM me
thanks

If your web host doesn't allow FTP (which is simply a method of uploading your photo's to your web site) how do they propose you get them there?
In Lightroom, once you have your chosen template organised for your photo's (on the "Web" tab) - simply hit the "export" button. You will then be asked to name a "Target" folder. This folder will be created by Lightroom - so don't bother creating one beforehand - then hit go.
The entire web-site will then be exported into this folder. All you need to do is find some way of getting them to your web host???

Hi,
Well I got a basic hosting service, and according to GoDaddy customer agent, they said I can do the FTP with this.
This hosting is different than the "WebsiteTonight".
I'm still lost ???

Sorry, I don't understand what "WebsiteTonight" is either?
In Lightroom, instead of "exporting" your photo's to a nominated folder on your hard drive, you have the option to to an FTP upload to your web server. For this you are going to need a user ID and password in order for your computer to "talk" to the server.
However, unless you are only ever going to upload one gallery (collection) of photo's, you are going to need some sort of .html "front end" to act like a menu for your various collections of photographs.
I would suggest getting a book on the subject - I'm not sure it's something that can be taught here.
BTW - your spelling of "...Tonight" confuses me - you spell it the UK way, yet you are talking in $ for "compensation" - where in the world are you?
