Redhead - difficult to pose.

I had to sneak up behind my front door and shoot through the glass window. This subject was very skittish. Didn't stay for long, but I managed to fire off four shots.

We have very similar woodpeckers in Idaho. Here in the suburban area I live in, they often attack the cedar shingles and siding of peoples homes.

Not real popularbirds here for that reason.
