All taken in Low light and High ISO but I was trying out different Perches this morning.
Removed due to Poor Quality!!

Thanks Ben they are all a bit noisy, Shooting Av @ ISO 1600 and Wide open and still only getting SS at 1/200 to 1/400
Maybe 20 Yards or a little more

Several birds do Mitch, These were shot at 700mm Av @ ISO 1600, Wide open, Exp= +1.33 and still could only get SS of 1/200 to 1/400 but the 40D tried!!!

Great series.
In my opinion you have too much DOF and maybe could have gained some ISO by stopping down 1 or 2? (and blurred the bg a bit more)
I can't read the exif so I'm not sure what f-stop you were at...
Nevertheless, I like the effort.

I was at f6.3 on 700/5.6 No where to go!! Please see the cleaned up Image called "Made a Choice"

every time i look at your photos the background is always spot on! interesting but not distracting, real inspiration for me to try and get some images like this!

Haha, love the spirit of friendly competition...
I just wish my 100-400 was this sharp with the 1.4x on it :(
