I've noticed that hitting the "transfer" button in DPP to go to PS CS makes a TIFF file but then my exif data is lost. Normally in DPP i adjust exposure if needed and do all color contrast, cropping, and sharpening in PS CS. If in DPP i first convert to an "EXIF-JPG" and then open in PS CS i keep the data. Is this a bad way to do this? What do i lose by first converting to "EXIF-JPG" and then messing with the colors and sharpening? I'm pretty new at this, so i tried it both ways and they look pretty similar.
