Well, I never thought the day would come, but my Tamrac Adventure 9 is getting a bit small for my gear, so I need a new backpack that has a laptop compartment and will give me room for growth.

I fly a lot, so two really important things to me are a) the ability to put lots of stuff other than just cameras and lenses (e.g. lee filters, small umbrella, nintendo DS, wallet + phone, etc) and b) comfort! A good tripod holder (for Manfrotto 055XProB) is nice, but by no means necessary.

The two bags that catch my eye are the Tamrac Cyberpack (any of them) or the Lowepro Computrekker Plus AW, but it's so hard to find good photos of photo backpacks that show every compartment and exactly what can be put inside.

I did a search on the forum and couldn't find a comparison between these two bags, so if anybody owns either of these, care to share your thoughts, or even better, photos, particularly of the non-main compartments? I've always found Tamrac bags a little more comfortable, but it's not like Lowepro is Nikon or something...jk :p

That's good to hear. I found a really nice price for a used one, but I am concerned about whether or not I'll be able to fit say, a pack of Lee GND filters + holders, a small umbrella (for rain, not lighting), wallet + phone, Nintendo DS + other accessories and stuff in the non-padded secondary compartment. What do you think? How many compartments are there anyway?

The main outside compartment is the whole bag face and there's plenty of room. Thanks for asking, I just found my CP. Was in there under stuff. It also has two zipper parts on the inside with the dividers.

i have a computrekker plus AW and it can fit a lot into it, fully loaded with 1dmk2n, 350d, sigma 10-20, 24-70 f2.8 and 70-200 f2.8, 580EX, 50mm f1.8, Olympus OM2, 3x Olympus lenses it weighs 12kg, thats before i chucked in a 2kg laptop and a 3kg tripod,
the CT+ fits heaps in it but you will probably want some wheels on it if its fully loaded

i have a computrekker plus AW and can fit a lot into it. It's a great, well made bag. Its best feature is also its worst. It holds a ton of stuff. Fully loaded it is a chore for many to carry.
