I took a walk down to the Farmington River in Connecticut USA to take a few shots of the snow clinging to the trees, and saw these baldies cling to a tree on the other side. I really need a longer lens. 300mm with a very tight crop about 650' away.

Ah, the eternal cry of the photographer: I NEED A LONGER LENS! lol, you did pretty good for the light and distance..

:lol:It's a guy thing.
Thanks for the comment, it really was quite overcast, I feel I did pretty good just spotting them in the first place, considering I went there just to take this photo.

oh to have snow...I wish it would snow here...lol. Nice shot of the eagles, I've tried capturing photos of some in our area but they are nesting so far away my "bigma" won't even get close enough to do them justice. They are a majestic looking bird!

I was wishing I had a bigma when I was taking these, but than again I didn't have my tripod with me and these were handheld, doubt I could do it with 500mm :rolleyes:
