20D Custom Function 1

I can not get this to operate correctly. I have tried all the other settings, quality, parameters, image display and the only behvior I get is the default. Do Nothing. Any help? Any one get it to work?

Do you have the rear wheel locked via the on/off switch?

Nevermind my question about the on/off switch, the set button should work even when the rear wheel is locked. The better question is are you using one of the creative modes (P, Tv, Av, M). Custom function 1 doesn't work in the other modes.

I have it figured out. I was expecting the LCD to light up and the menu choice be selected but it only shows on the LCD panel. Thanks again.
