This shot was very dull and I almost deleted it but then I added some texture - now I kind of like it. What do you think?

i can see why you would have deleted it...the sky was blown out white right?
this looks great. its perfect for advertising or a greeting card.

Correct, blown out sky.

Let's see if I can remember! :rolleyes: I put a crinkled paper texture layer under the image (PSE5 has a brown paper background), then I changed the blending mode of the image to overlay, flattened, then duplicated, blending mode multiply, adjusted opacity, flattened, then duplicated made this layer screen, agjusted opacity til I was happy, then flattened again. Final step, added the vignette with a new layer above and multiply blending mode.
