advice on a trade - 30D for stuff

hey gang, i have been offered a trade for my 30D. he is offering all the following:

-A Sony Hi8 Camcoder TRV98
-Ipod Nano 1GB,
-a Rebel XT.

what do u folks think? good deal? crappy deal?

I wouldn't.

The camcorder is ending on ebay for 158.00 tops and even 79.00 BIN. (Completed listings)

The Nano can be had for about 99 bucks used.

And the XT you can pick up on the cheap used also.

On the other hand, if it's a kid just getting their start, it never hurts the karma to give a hand up.

Don't understand why you'd go from a 30D to an XT?
