I typically photograph motorsports, so this is something different. I am stuck with the kit lens and cheapo 70-300 until I can come into some money to get something better. These aren't that great quality wise, but I am looking more for advice on my choice of shots and framing of the subjects and similar. Any C&C can only help me. Thanks, Christian

Tighter croping would defniely help. Also, i usually shot from more of the back baseline, that way you can get mare expressions when they are driving for the basket, taking a shot, etc...(dont know what your access was, but it looked pretty empty)

I was courtside in a seat, since I am not a pro or hired by the college I don't know there rules on moving around. I don't want to get in the way of the pros that are there. Thanks for the comment, Christian
